Investigating the How and Why of Motorcycle Accidents
Motorcycle accident cases often involve significant personal injury due to rider vulnerability, and rider error contributes to the causation and/or severity of many motorcycle-involved accidents. Attendees will learn about the three key causative factors of motor vehicle collisions – environment, vehicle, and human. State-of-the-science methods and technologies used for crash site investigation and forensic mapping, vehicle inspections and downloading crash data, as well as human factors analysis of driver behavior will be discussed.
